Holy Spirit (Holy Ghost).
The school is named after the Holy Ghost (Holy Spirit) the third person of the Holy Trinity. The fruit of the spirit is love, Joy, peace patience, kindness goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Holy Ghost moves a person to do good and lean on good. He gives light to the intellect, and strength to the mind, and forms a good generation of wisdom and understanding.

Holy Ghost CGHSS Thottakkattukara is one of the reputed schools in Aluva. Our school has a holistic education system that empowers students to actively participate and contribute their best in community life.

Holy Ghost CGHSS is an innovative school makes use of the talents and skills of staff, students and parents to provide a wide range of educational programmes and projects. Wholesome participation is encouraged in extra-curricular activities and care is also taken to ensure the well-being and happiness of each and every student in the school.

OUR FOUNDRESS

Servant of God Mother Eliswa

Holy Ghost CGHS Thottakkattukara is the result of the vision of Servant of God Mother Eliswa the foundress of the first Indigenous Carmelites Congregation for Women in India the CTC Congregation. She was the first to initiate female education in Kerala, in an era when Women's Education was denied.

She had the vision that family reformation can be made possible through educated women. She established the first Convent School, Boarding house, and Orphanage for girls in Kerala.

History of Holy Ghost CGHSS

This school was established at Thottakkattukara in 1952 by the CTC congregation. It was upgraded to High School in 1982 and Higher Secondary School in 2000. This school is situated on three acres of beautiful land and has a spacious playground with a lot of shade trees.

There are five building complexes for KG, LP, UP, HS, and HSS sections. There are 45 classrooms and one CWSN Resource room for LP, UP, and HS sections, 6 classrooms for HSS, and 4 classrooms for KG sections. Also, each section has separate labs, libraries, and smart classrooms. The HS section has 21 hi-tech classrooms, two computer labs with 22 computers, and projector systems. This school is located in the Aluva Education district of Ernakulam Revenue District.
